Well on my way!!

Well, my first weigh-in on 'Route to Management' and I have lost another 2.2lbs!! It keeps coming off! You have to love this diet.

I sorted through all of my old clothes today and put loads of sizes 12-14 to one side for people to rummage through.

I am nervous about this week though as I have to start eating 2 meals per day! It is going to be weird.

Oh well, my goal weight is 10 stone and I am 9 stone 12.5lbs - That is a whole 1.5lbs of wine - I don't want to be underweight now, do i ;-)

Thursday, 17 December 2009

Finally - I have done it!!!

10 stone (and .7 of a pound) I have reached my goal and I am now on Route to management.

The key is to maintain over christmas!!

I am keeping to the food diet plan 100% over Christamas - but I will be spoiling myself with a glass of wine or two ;-)

Thursday, 10 December 2009

I have lost more lbs than you can shake a stick at!!!

Another 2.2lbs off this week. That means only 3.5lbs to go.

I am sooooooo excited. This week I am working really really hard to try and do it in one week so that I can get on Route To Management (a 4 week course reintroducing the food I haven't been able to eat for the past few months).

However, it is going to be hard as I will need to drink 6 litres of water a day!!!

Another glass of water anyone?

Week 7 - Clare

So I had my 7th weighin last night and have now lost another 3.3lbs!

I have discovered that I need to be harsher with the ingredients I am putting in my food - I think it is effecting my ketosis.

So, a large ham and turkey salad tonight with mayo - goodtimes.

Tomorrow, I am off to the Harvester with Daves family. It will be really good fun, but I am not looking forward to explaining to them why I want nothing but the steak on my plate!!! (not even peas!!)

Monday, 9 November 2009

Good news!!

I am finally back in my smallest, most favouritist, bestest suit in my wardrobe!

The only other time that it fit was over a year ago when I first joined Aon!

I am one happy little skinny princess :-)

Rubbish

Sausage 'n' chips, chocolate, pizza, chocolate, fish'n'chips, chocolate, biscuits, chocolate, crumpets, chocolate, butter, chocolate, cheese, chocolate, liquorice allsorts, chocolate, chinese, chocolate .... and so it goes on.

So needless to say I was up 1.5lbs on Monday.

I lost the will to diet when in Briddy last week and now cannot find the willpower to get back into it.
BUT IT WILL!! I will get on the scales again next Monday, however painful, and try and get back on track then.

Well done Clare.

Week 6 - Clare

Another 2lbs this week - it is falling off me. I am going to be a skinny blinky in no time at all!!!

One very nervous little princess....... - Clare

I have my weigh-in tonight and for some reason I a really nervous about it! Last week we discussed how much water we drink and how it helps weight loss. Although I was drinking more than anyone else in the group, I still wasn't drinking enough. So for the past 7 days, I have had more water go through me than a fish!
I will let you know how I have done
(Keep your fingers crossed)

Week 5 - Clare

So I have just started week 5 of the diet. So far I have lost 16.5 lbs and I am feeling good! I plan to wear something disgustingly short and tight for halloween tomorrow as a reward to myself!

Slow Going

I only lost 1lb last week - but no worries, at least I am not gaining and I am quite happy with what I am, athough another few lbs off would be nice.

Off to Bridport for a few days this week so I don't expect any result next Monday.

Thursday, 22 October 2009

Oops

Sorry Clare, forgot to post.

I had a good week last week and lost 2lbs last week making a total of 8lbs. Not as fast as you!!

COME ON MUM

It's Monday - aka 'weigh in day' for you...

How have you done?

2nd weigh-in - Clare

Went to LLL last night and I have lost another 4lbs! that is 10.5lbs in only 2 weeks. Not bad, not bad at all.

I am feeling better and can begin to experiment with the 'smaller' half of my wardrobe again, which is very nice!

The group is talking about 'crooked thinking' at the moment, which is thought that can affect your mood and habits, thus affecting eating as comfort/boredom/fun etc. It is all very interesting.

Anyway - I am pleased as punch and feeling much smaller. I just need to try and drink more flipping water!

Going Down Again - Total Loss 6lbs

Yey - I was 3lbs down this morning, making a total loss of 6lbs since I started on 7th Sept. I have had a good week with no major hiccups. I had a couple of lapses at the theatre during the evenings - tub of icecream one night and a bar of chocolate on another but I did add them to my daily points values. Neither of them bumped me over my daily allowance as fortunately I had had a very low point intake for those days.

Here beginneth another week ......

1st official weigh-in - Clare

61/2 lbs this week! Brilliant!!
I know that because it is my first week that I have lost more than usual, but hey - I can't stop smiling, anyway.
They say that you should expect to loose about a stone every 6 weeks once your body settles into it, but now only 1 & 1/2 stone to go!!

1st weigh-in - Clare

I am halfway through day 5 of the diet and popped into the LighterLife office for a check-up (they like to make sure that I am in ketosis, healthy & happy). They also weighed me and I am
4LBS DOWN IN 5 DAYS!!!
How good is that ?

I am so pleased, it is a big relief, although I do feel that I have 'de-bloated' alot.

Proper week 1 weigh in in Wednesday, then weekly from then on.

p.s. yummy chill & garlic king prawn and feta cheese salad with a balsamic vinegar dressing for dinner. = Goodtimes!

Not Surprising

Not at all surprised that I gained 2lbs last week. It was a pretty disastrous week diet-wise and I ate and drank with abandon - well, didn't drink with 'abandon' but had more wine than I usually do. But then - it was my birthday!

Back to the regime today so hopefully I will make up for my gain by next Monday.

A weekend camping....... - Clare

On Friday I went to Uffington camping.

I was worried about it because it was with all my 'drinking friends', but it went so well.

I had yummy, hearty porridge for breakfast everyday, a shake for lunch, homemade beefburgers and salad for dinner and then a nice soup in the evening around a campfire.

On Saturday, we went on a massive hike up a huge hill, we walked for miles and mile (lots of exercise) and ended up in a gorgeous country pub where everyone had huge lunches. Although they looked and smelt nice, I was quite happy with my shake and was quite amused with the 'coma' that everyone fell into after a huge lunch, while I was still happy to keep going and not even feeling hungry.

Today went well. I had a huge onion, mushroom & cheese omlette for dinner which was lovely. I am tempted to have it tomorrow, but instead I am going to have chilli prawns with a feta cheese salad.

I have my first weigh-in tomorrow and a 1-2-1 with the councillor which will be nice, I just hope I have done well.

p.s. A massive thank you to Mandy, who has called/text every day to make sure that I am ok, happy and on track.

Let Them Eat Cake

OK, so it's been my birthday week and I have had a friend staying. We have been out a lot and therefore eaten out and what with my birthday meal (and wine!) and the enormous cake I was given - I have given up pointing this week and will start anew on Monday.

I will get on the scales on Monday and be very honest!

Good for you Clare - but be careful.

Penny - how's it going?

Day 2 - Clare

I am feeling good at the moment, very motivated, perhaps a little tired and hungry, but motivated.

I know that the bad bits will pass in a day or 2 and I am really looking forward to feeling 'normal' again.

I am off camping tonight and have made my own beef burgers to BBQ using my daily allowance of protein. I can also have alot of salad with them and also some cheese on top as part of my dairy for the day - Goodtimes!

My first weigh-in is Monday night. At that point they will check that I am in ketosis and that everything is ok. I can also take that opportunity to take back any of the food packs that I don't want (mushroom - bluuugh).

Well wish me luck for the weekend, although I am sure that I will be fine.

x

Now I'm blogging!! - Clare

Ok - so, I am trying something new and have joined Lighterlife Lite.

It is very similar to the diet that Mandy does, the difference is I have 3 foodpacks instead of 4 and I have a daily allowance of protein, veg, fats & dairy which can be made into a meal.

I joined last night and I am ashamed to say that I weigh 12 stone 8lbs. 2 stone heavier than my lightest, this time last year.

I figured, if I am honest and tell everyone about my weight, then it would spur me on even more to loose it!!

The only issue with this diet is, I can't drink alcohol - but I am embracing it (it's a means to an end). I would rather be sipping 1 glass of wine come xmas in a size 10 dress, rather then binge drink through life as a heffer - right?)

Anyway, the first 3 days will be the hardest as I will be very hungry, but after that - it's a clear straight road ahead.

I'll keep you all posted!

Tuesday, 29 September 2009

Hooray!

My scales must have had that Monday morning feeling yesterday. Because of my dismay of not losing anything last week I jumped on them again this morning - and they showed 2lbs off! :)

Monday, 28 September 2009

Where are the two of you?

Not doing very well I guess?? Come on - get going!

I am puzzled that my weight stayed the same this week as I have kept within my 20 points per day allowance. I can't see this week being very good as I have a friend staying for a few days and we are going out, and therefore eating out, a lot. Also I have my birthday meal on Thursday evening so I expect that will be disastrous.

Still, I will keep trying.

Monday, 21 September 2009

Start of Week 3

Well, the weight didn't really fall off me - I only lost 1lb last week but after losing 4lbs the week before I can't really complain.

Still motivated.

Slops

I can feel the weight falling off me!

I have got a very loose front crown and daren't eat anything so today was sloppy porridge for breakfast, sloppy weetabix for lunch and soup for dinner - nothing solid at all ... and I can't see a dentist until 5pm tomorrow so by dinnertime tomorrow night I will be starving - or my stomach will have shrunk so much that I won't feel hungry at all (I wish).

Nice To See You ...

... to see you, nice. (At last). Welcome Penny and lets hope we can all support each other.

After my really good week last week I was full of motivation yesterday after my weekly weigh in - until I remembered that I had some scones in my freezer. Well, one with an afternoon cup of tea wouldn't be many points would it? But then one led to two, together with butter and jam. (The garden birds are now fattening up nicely on the remaining four).

Right, I thought, that is dinner out of the window - until I got to Jacky's where I was sitting for Aimee for a couple of hours. "There's some of that chicken risotto left from Saturday in the fridge for you Mum" says Jacky. Remembering how delilcious it was on Saturday I just had to eat it :( So that made me at least 4 points over for yesterday. But today I should make those up as I have had a very frugal day.

Monday, 14 September 2009

Okay so I'm in!!

I have made a bit of an effort today. Didn't have a cake or crisps with lunch and not so much to drink. Weight this am was Bla bla 12.6 pounds.
Not quite full on but planning to start counting soon!!

The Scales Never Lie ...

... so it is said.

After one week of being really good (ok a couple of pieces of cake, but they were pointed) I have lost 4lb. Chuffed!

A good start to keep me motivated.

Tuesday, 8 September 2009

Motivated

I feel very motivated (thank goodness) and spent some time in Tesco's yesterday so now my fridge is full of salads, fruit and the cupboard is full of tins of tuna and baked beans !!

Last night wasn't as disastrous as it could have been. Because we were not meeting at Jacky's until around 7.30 when Aimee returned from Brownies, I ate my evening meal before going. But .... I did buy her a Thornton's chocolate birthday cake, and one slice was 11 points (gulp!) I added them into my daily points and ended up 4 over for the day. I am allowed 20 per day.

So today I have been extra good and used only 16 points so it is back to 'all square'.

Week 1 of the Joint Weight Loss Group

Clare, Penny and Judy have decided to create a joint weight loss blog in the hopes of being able to support each other more easily than having our own separate blogs. Anyone who is trying to lose weight is welcome to join in.

Since I ended 'Losing It' in April and embarked on a long trip I have gained 1 stone 2.5 lbs, and that MUST GO!

So, back on the points today. I am allowed 20 per day. Today will be difficult and I will probably go way over as it is Jacky's birthday and we will possibly have a takeaway tonight followed by birthday cake.
