Hello!

Well, having not got back to my target pre-pregnancy weight (11st) since my Ginger Cake blog last year and having put a few pounds on over xmas and not lost them (been a bit stressed since then and have comfort-eaten through it but hey-ho, onwards and upwards), I'm trying blogging again. I'm not going to try any fad diets or counting points or anything as I don't need that - I know my weakness is eating rubbish and portion control (fnarr fnarr) ; every time I tip dried pasta or rice into boiling water, I always think it's too much but then eat the lot; every day I'm eating a chocolate snack bar, or a bag of crisps, or both; I'm not eating 5 portions of fruit and veg a day; I can't remember the last time I ate a piece of fruit tbh... and I KNOW I'm doing it and I know as I do it that I shouldn't. I know my diet has been pretty rubbish and my lack of energy and enthusiasm is partly a result of that - Aimee had to wake me up off the sofa this afternoon to cook her tea FFS!!! And this evening, after dropping Aimee at Mum's for the night and talking about dieting, I came home and polished off the Viennetta. There was more than half of it left, about 400cals. Pants (big ones at that).
